We received a call from our facilitator today who is currently in Kiev. After spending the day waiting at the SDA, he was able to pick up all the remaining papers needed for our court date. He'll be arriving Monday morning on the train to join us at the court appearance.
Yesterday during our visit the younger girls were also asking for our phone number. We told them they should talk to the older girl about calling. This morning we got a phone call from the older girl and the younger girl together. Apparently the middle girl didn't get in on the call. When we arrived at the orphanage today, we saw that both the middle girl and her classmate now have our phone number. They wrote it out in pen in one-inch tall numbers on their arms!

Thank you for the birthday greetings! I got a really good laugh about your phone number being written in big numerals on those little arms.(Will your number continue to spread?) When your phone rings now, before you answer it, I think you are always gonna wonder who is actually on the other end. :)
Well, it sounds like girls are all the same allll around the world! My two (now 15 and 13) have both gone through the "let's write everything on our appendages in ink or Sharpie" phase. Thankfully, it has passed for the most part. Now, assignments or phone numbers are sometimes marked on hands, but most of the drawing and doodling is done. :)
