Not much to say about past

This is just a quick post to say, since some have asked, that we are not planning to talk to anyone about what we know of our daughters' past lives, except to say that they are hurt kids, which is of course true of all orphans, and that they have been in the orphanage for about 2 years. Their own story really belongs to them, and we are giving them a chance to start a new life as themselves and to talk about the past when they are ready and on their terms. No one wants to be defined by the things that have hurt them, and our children will have plenty of work adjusting to American life anyway, with no unnecessary drama.
